Getting Started
New to Bromo? Learn how to set up your account and get going.
Download Bromo from the App Store, open the app, and tap "Create Account." You can sign up with your email address. Enter your details, create a secure password, and you're in. You must be at least 18 years old to use Bromo.
After creating your account, the onboarding flow will guide you through setting up your profile step by step. You'll add your display name, upload photos, fill in your bio, and set key details like your age, body type, and what you're looking for. A complete profile helps you get more visibility on the grid.
Onboarding is the guided setup process you go through when you first create your account. It walks you through adding photos, filling in profile details, setting your preferences, and understanding how the app works. Completing onboarding ensures your profile is ready to be seen by others.
The grid is your main view in Bromo. It shows nearby profiles in a tile layout, sorted by distance and activity. You can apply filters to see only the guys that match what you're looking for — filter by age, distance, body type, position, ethnicity, and more. Tap any profile tile to view their full profile.
You can skip some optional steps during onboarding, but certain basics like adding at least one profile photo and your date of birth are required. We recommend completing the full onboarding to get the best experience — profiles with more details and photos get significantly more attention on the grid.
Bromo is currently available on iOS (iPhone). We require iOS 17 or later. An Android version is planned for the future. There is no web or desktop version at this time.
When you first open Bromo, you'll be prompted to allow notifications. If you skipped this, go to your device's Settings > Notifications > Bromo and enable them. Notifications let you know when you get new messages, taps, matches, and Chill updates.
